Wow, what can I say but thank you? The just-announced TRMA Award for Radio Show of the Year (Recorded) for the "Boats, Bars, Beaches and Jesus" show is an awesome surprise, and I'm so grateful to our amazing listeners who not only listen to the show every week, but support it and keep it going!
The show wouldn't be what it is without the INCREDIBLE artists who week after week, have made each show so entertaining with their stories and their songs. Many of those artists, like Mike Nash, John Patti, Carrie Welling, Kelly McGuire, Dan Sullivan, Jerry Diaz, and Donny Brewer, won well-deserved prizes in different TRMA categories. One of our listeners, Biz Blasinski, even won the TRMA Award for Fan of the Year!
Speaking of awards, how about Radio Trop Rock, the amazing station that graciously provides "Boat, Bars, Beaches and Jesus" such a great platform, taking home TWO awards for Radio Station of the Year AND Best LIVE Show with "Trop Rock'N the USA"? Congrats to Eric and Gina Babin of Radio Trop Rock, and thank you BOTH for taking a chance on a show that started as a crazy idea and now thanks to you, our amazing listeners and great special guests, is still going after 42 shows!
PS If you haven't yet heard the show, not only are they all posted HERE, BUT this Sunday we've got ANOTHER incredible guest, hit songwriter Steve Williams Nashville, who penned BIG ones for Craig Morgan, George Strait, The Oak Ridge Boys, Buddy Jewell and more, joining us at 11am CT. Hope you'll set an alarm for that or Monday's 9pm CT replay!
Thank you again, everyone! Raising a rum and diet coke to ALL you guys, and here's to boats, bars, beaches and Jesus!
